Love the staff and the vibe in this place. We were surprised today when a kind person paid our tab! Whoever you are. Thank you! Someday we will return the favor :)

Great food in a fascinating setting. Had a wonderful breakfast this morning.

Hudson!!This location has great food, great drinks, fantastic service and fun, chatty atmosphere! The daily menu has top notch tasty food options, but on the weekends they serve the best cheesy shrimp and grits this side of the Mississippi!! This dish in my opinion will rival any shrimp and grits served anywhere, Yup I said anywhere. Pair it with the classic spicy bloody Mary with sidecar beer chaser and you are set!Don't like shrimp? Have the cheesy grits with bacon, Yup!The restaurant is located in Sodo's industrial area off of East Marginal Way S, next to the haunted house, real fun at Halloween!!This is a true go to spot!!

Excellent grits! Tasty Bloody Mary and large size portions of food. Friendly service and clean inside.

Classic bar with a varied menu; not great appetizers but good mains. I like the spinach salad and the fish and chips.

Delicious food but it falls short in the same way so many Seattle restaurants do, service. The drinks and food were top notch and prepared quickly with good presentation. The only issue at Hudson is the mediocre service. Not terrible, but certainly not great. The rolling eyes of a waitress never help and a greater interest in your customers would make this place far better for everyone. This is all too common in Seattle.

Had a seriously stiff Bloody Mary and a lovely country fried steak. They might have the record for the best country fried though. Super good.

Busy for lunch hour. Bar far. Owners have at least one other successful restaurant.

The food was just amazing, a real foody type of meal. The ambiance was started in the early sixties and gained something What from evey proceeding decade a real time capsule of decorations like something from a Quentin Tarentino movie. It's a must-see

OMG! Great place! Their brisket is to die for! I've had the brisket omelet and found omlet heaven. Same with their french fries. Best in the area for sure. Wish I had taken photos.

When we got there there was at least 5 groups of people waiting outside to be seated and I was starving but I kept thinking if these people are waiting it has to be worth the wait and that’s when I seen it... the brisket omelette!!! Yes I had to have it and it was so delicious!! And the portion is huge!! I got a biscuit with my meal and it was so fresh my mouth watered!! Omg if u go your first time has to be the brisket omelette!!

21 and up only brunch spot. I love that this is an adults only affair...as listening to kids when nursing a hangover can be rough.Excellent updated diner classics. Really excellent biscuits and omelettes...hard to go wrong with any of the selections actually. Blood Mary fans: you will be pleased here. One of the better tomato mixes I've had in awhile (and Bloody Marys are my drink).

This is a good stop for breakfast and lunch in the industrial district of Seattle. The decor highlights the Hudson automobile. The dining counter of 1960s nostalgia. The ceiling light fixture are repurposed Hudson hub caps. The 'Hudson Classic' was reminder of the days of ponying up' in the 1960s to a cafe, for a much anticipated good morning start breakfast.

Where to start about the amazing food! Basically everything on the menu is a must try at least once. The service is quick and welcoming. And don't leave without their amazing coffee. Huge plus!

Awesome sassy bartender.

Lost my old brunch spot south of downtown and gained a new delicious spot.Wait was short and great with their coffee. Bar seats are very comfortable. Service was very fast. Food was amazing. I had deep fried French toast which wasn't too sweet. Friends has breakfast tacos and an omelet and everyone was very pleased. Also had a mimosa which was perfectly made. Will definitely be here again.

This is where we sat at. It was the best spot because I could see the chef behind the counter cooking on the flaming stove and watch every finished plate delivered to its table. I saw many plates of pancakes go out with eggs anyway you want it on top! The pancakes were so huge I couldn't even see the plate underneath! I am always torn between the brunch battle of savory vs sweet. Savory usually wins for me.

A total dive but... Brisket omelet with a side of homemade biscuit, soo good. Parking a relatively painless but if you come on the weekend expect crowds.

Unexpectedly warm diner. Really enjoyed the bowl of grits

Great food, nice atmosphere. Fantastic staff...

Cool spot in the middle of the Industrial District. Can be tricky to find parking sometimes. Ultimately, nothing special. The menu could offer more and they can afford to serve breakfast longer, since a good amount of their clientele are coming off a hangover. Staff also blah; not unpleasant, but not that friendly either.

Make sure if it's brunch time that you check in first, we didn't know when we saddled up the an empty bar spot but were apparently just had lucky timing. Food was amazing! Husband got the brisket burrito and I got the French toast, both were amazing. After tasting his tho I can't wait to go back!!

Really good food! Highly recommend sandwhiches, great pit stop on the way to the airpory and have good vegetarian options, friendly service, and would definitely go again if the opportunity presents. Parking is available in the fenced area in front of restaurant

Food was good, but not a huge menu. I thought they'd have a bigger breakfast menu. Went during the middle of the week and there was plenty of room, no waiting for a booth. Service was fast and friendly.

My sisters and I would like to thank the nice person who paid our bill this morning. You made our last day in Seattle. Thank you 🌹March 17, 2019

Great breakfast and drinks. Love the horseshoe bar - you can actually talk to people you never met before. Usually a short wait but never so long you would want to go elsewhere.

Charged $3.50 for a ramekin of mayo, 4 slices of tomato, and a leaf of romaine 😬 Ended up paying about $25 for a BLT and coffee. The food was good, but there are much better options in the area for the price. 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸

So good I didn't get a picture of my food :-)

The best chicken fried steak I ever eat!!!😋

Always great food and mostly always fantastic service to go along with it. It's always packed so at times the servers can be stretched, but great hospitality. We love Hudson for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Food and drinks never dissapoint.

Can’t count how many people I’ve referred to this place because of the beer battered fish and chips that were the best I’ve found. Now it’s the worst. Gladly never going back.

Some of the best food we’ve sampled in Seattle! Husband was happy to find a non IPA on tap. Mashed potatoes I could eat for days! Friend got simple chicken strips that were battered to perfection. All excellent and worth the long wait for!

Chicken fried steak was fantastic. Good atmosphere. Cozy.

The most phenomenal food ever! I'm a fatty and can get my grub on and the food here gave me a run for my money. Seen below is the Beef Brisket Omelet with hash browns and a homemade biscuit. Everything is made from scratch and worth every penny! I managed to eat it all and my goddess, I was full and didn't eat again until dinner that night!

I can not express how much I love this place. Its location is easy to get to if you are driving downtown. Their service is some of the best I ever had. Our waitress made a small mistake in one of our orders. (Most likely because we were being quite confusing while ordering) and she realized it as soon as she set the plate down, and proceeded to fix it without us having so say a word. Also, their quesadillas are to die for. They are lightly browned, and have the perfect amount of filling.

Great! The food was good and our waitress was very sweet and kept our drinks full and food coming.

Very cool small bar and cafe. They have a pretty good brunch and a fair variety of other options. Pancakes were tasty and it has a very local vibe.

I've stumbled upon this place completely accidental and decided to check it out. And it turns out that it was definitely worth visiting. Their chicken steak is just outstanding (as well as the gravy and English muffins)! The only drawback is coffee, which is rather mediocre for my taste.

This is a cool spot for a good breakfast. I popped one star off because I always feel rushed. I come in about 1030-11 and I think it's in the breakfast to lunch swap... but come on.. food is great, atmosphere is authentic.

The food was good, but I was a little disappointed in what Hudson's termed "brisket." Being from the South, brisket is barbeque. This was not brisket, it was roast. Served with a tasty brown sauce and mashed potatoes, all in all, the meal was good. Be careful if you ask to substitute a side with your meal. There was no warning that substituting a Ceasar Salad for the seasoned vegetables was an extra $5.25!
Matt Rolston
The wait staff are friendly, the food is good, and it's completely 21+ so no obnoxious children. A great locals destination. Only complaint I have is that it's a small place, so you can end up waiting for a while.

Really I'm only reviewing the Blackened Salmon Sandwich because I've had it several times and the flavoring is delicious. This place is definitely pricey, the sandwich & fries cost about $17. Service is fine. Seriously though, Blackened Salmon. Just eat it.

Solid working man bar that is consistent and friendly with great food and a casual atmosphere. Always try to stop in when in the city.

This place is my go to breakfast place and I am proud to say I’ve gotten quite a few people hooked on it! The chicken fried steak is amazing and a BIG breakfast. Their drinks are strong, Bloody Mary comes with a beer back, and their food is ridiculous. Only thing is they get really busy on weekends so I try to get there around open at 8am.

Amazing restaurant with by far the best non-cajun shrimp and grits. Great drinks, awesome food. Even the damn musical selections are winners.

Love this place! The Federal with egg whites is my *go to* breakfast.. my son gets the chicken fried steak.. which is a colossal portion. I have been coming here for 4 years.. never been disappointed.

Love this place, especially for brunch. Only set back for me, kids aren't allowed - 21 & over only. Love the vibe here, so easy and casual.

Very good food and friendly helpful service in a nice room. My only gripe is that the chicken fried steak came a little light on the gravy, which I was hoping to use in my biscuit. The server asked if I wanted a side of gravy, which arrived promptly, but didn't notify me that it would cost almost 1/4 as much as my whole plate of breakfast.
